Port Macquarie 2018/19 Part I: Flynns Beach

“The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.” — Jacques Yves Cousteau

“True silence is the rest of the mind; it is to the spirit. What sleep is to the body, nourishment and refreshment.”— William Penn

“Nature is not a place to visit. It is home.
— Gary Snyder

“Through the portals of silence, the healing sun of wisdom and peace will shine upon you.”
— Paramahansa Yogananda

“Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books.”— John Lubbock

“We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature — trees, flowers, grass — grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence. We need silence to be able to touch souls.” — Mother Teresa
