I am excited to announce my photograph ‘Masonite Fire’ was selected out of over 700 entries to receive a ‘Special Recognition Award’ in Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery‘s Open (No Theme) Art Exhibition, now online!
I took this photograph while on day deployment with my NSW Rural Fire Service brigade to the wildfire near Newcastle Airport in January 2018.
We were positioned at Grahamstown Acquatic Centre patiently waiting for the firefront to hit… and saw this extraordinary scene.
