Australian firefighters are conducting Hazard Reduction burns around the country when the weather permits in order to prepare for the upcoming bush fire season. It certainly makes for a sight worth seeing.

What I miss Julie is the burning of the cane fields, now that was a sight on a hot night. Nice pics btw. 🙂

    1. I believe they’re in the middle of the sugar cane burning season in Australia right now!! Maybe North NSW? That would be absolutely beautiful. Thanks Laurie.

Some burn, others I think harvest green and the excess foliage goes into biofuel Last saw the burning up north Queensland back in the 70’s, a great sight.
        Always welcome Julie.
