Time to Get Thinking: I’m Open for Submissions!

Would you like to see your art, writing or photography on my blog? Send it to me and I’ll feature it! Are you an author, musician, environmentalist, creative, or just damn inspiring? I’d love to interview you! If your work/life fit with the general scope of my blog, please send your request to juliegreenart [at] gmail [dot] com or leave a comment below. I can’t wait to hear from you.

  1. Hi Julie! What a cool idea! I would love to contribute if you are interested in any of my work. I am a mostly mommy-blogger but also have some poems in there. My blog is about trying to find mindfulness in this nutty world as a full-time-working-mama-social-worker-wife. As a lifelong writer, I am just blissed out by words and stringing them together. Not sure exactly what you are looking for, but thought I would throw my hat into the ring. Have a great day!

    1. The things you write about fit in Momaste, even if I don’t have kids myself. I am interested in your work, so thank you for throwing your hat into the ring.

I don’t want to limit you by telling you specifically what to write, but here are two kinds of posts I’d feature of yours:

      Butterfly Breath http://momasteblog.wordpress.com/2013/05/19/butterfly-breath/

Climbing Mt Motherhood My Hillary Step

Finding mindfulness in this nutty world as a working mum, I imagine, would be challenging, so feel free to write about what works for you with that and what doesn’t… or something like that 😉

Let me know what you think & feel free to e-mail me if you have some ideas.

All the best with mummyhood (yep, it’s a ‘u’ here),
      Julie x

      1. Thank you so much for stopping by, Julie. Are you looking for original submissions, or did you want to use one of those? Your feedback on my poetry is much appreciated. . . I have just been stretching my poetic chops again after some time.

    2. I’d love original submissions if you have the time, although I am open to re-posting if you’d prefer.

      1. Hmmm, both of the pieces you liked are two of my favorites, especially the hillary step one… I’d love to see it reposted, but I am open to writing something original too… oh the pressure! What is the deadline you are looking at?

      2. Hey now, we don’t need to increase pressure! I like them too and I’m happy to repost. I can let you know when I do. There’s no deadline at all.

    3. How does sometime in July work for you Momaste?

  2. I’m a writer of Fantasy, Suspense and Thrillers. I would love to be featured on your blog. This is a sample post. http://vashtiqvega.wordpress.com/2013/04/13/he-thought-of-…er-to-a-bottle/

    1. Vashti, I am looking at your blog and your work and considering what kind of post I’d love to see from you. That link is broken, can you send it again? x

  3. Hi Julie, I would love to submit a guest post if you’re interested in the topic of mindful leadership. I began my blog as a requirement for a course I was taking, if you feel it fits, I would love to submit something.
